Our team 44691R “General Disappointment” has taken our involvement in robotics outside of the classroom and into the community around us. From presenting to a makerspace to visiting local schools to interact with kids, we’ve strived to make robotics more than a competition. Being in the community we’ve inspired a passion for STEM in the people around us while educating about what we do in robotics and the real life skills it’s taught us. We hope to continue doing more as the year progresses and be able to reach more people to show them how important STEM is and the positive impact it can have.
