About Our Club: We are the G-4s, team 18891A. We are the only 4-H VEX High School Robotics Team in New England. Leadership and giving back to the community is what our 4-H VEX team is all about. About the Video: Our goal is to spread the word about the power of robotics and STEM education. To do this, we showcased VEX Robotics at the 5th largest fair in the United States, The Big E. To help expand VEX Robotics in the 4-H community, we mentored 4 new VEX IQ teams and incorporated robotics competitions into the 4-H Fair. To reach out to our local community, we ran a STEM Robotic Maker night and did robotic demonstrations at our local library. We had fun inspiring the next generation of potential VEX robotics members. How could we spread the word about VEX and STEM even further? We reached out to teachers! Our team put the controllers of the robots in new teacher's hands at the STEMtastic Elementary and Middle School Teacher Exposition. We spoke about how VEX Robotics inspires students to go into STEM careers. Team 18891A: Granby 4-H VEX Robotics High School Competition Team strives to spread the word about the importance of STEM and robotics in today's world.
