My favorite part of being on a VEX team is mentoring the younger students. I believe that mentorship is important so that knowledge doesn't die out with each generation. When you teach someone, you're giving them the opportunity to not only learn from you, but combine that knowledge with their own. This photo shows the youngest "member" on our robotics team, the coach's son, stacking Tower Takeover cubes. He represents the future of robotics - the future we must mentor, once we've left VEX, so that our knowledge doesn't die out.
