Robotics in Mexico

Some members of the CCA Cybereagles Robotics team had the opportunity to travel to Merida, Mexico to introduce STEM concepts to children of all ages. Through STEM, we were able to bridge connections with kids at an orphanage that we visited. Although there was a language barrier, we learned that STEM is universal. Experiencing the children learn and program MBots was remarkably rewarding. Despite their circumstances, they exceeded our expectations and were extremely determined to complete the tasks. Often, they would stumble on problems, but they would assess solutions and try to work it out together. We were able to witness the joy the kids had upon learning something new. It was a truly remarkable and inspiring experience.
