In VEX, teamwork is not only a suggestion, but a necessity. At the 2019 US Open robotics tournament, members from three different states partnered for the elimination matches in hope to oust the rest of the teams at the competition. Considering these members had little to no interactions between each other prior to the tournament, they had to use the principle of teamwork to excel their play in matches to a higher level. Teamwork is one of the most valuable traits to have in VEX, as well as in the engineering field in general.
