Written by all of the members of Team 1868Z, this essay describes how the girls on our team have come together through VEX robotics. As an all-girl team, we work to overcome gender steroetypes as we develop our engineering skills and grow our confidence. We want to share this empowerment with other girls and hope that our story will inspire them to explore what being part of a VEX robotics team can do for them.
