“9% of leadership roles in engineering are made up of women” (Society of Women Engineers). Statistics show that there is a substantially low number of girls in the STEM field. On 5327E, we try our very best to make our team an inclusive environment that allows all team members, regardless of their gender, to contribute to our team. Some of these contributions include programming, documenting, building, designing, and computer-aided design. In our entry, we explain how our team strives to create a diverse engineering experience that allows members to learn and develop fundamental engineering skills. We also volunteer in our free time to help encourage younger and beginner girls to pursue engineering.
