We are team 12B, an all-girls team from The Potomac School in McLean, Virginia. Throughout our years in robotics, we have experienced subtle sexism at various competitions and events that have opened our eyes to the difficulties associated with being a woman in STEM. We hope to make an impact on girls in STEM with our various outreach activities and inspire those around us. In this PDF, we discuss our ups and downs over the years as women in STEM and how those struggles have helped us grow to become the confident, girl-powered team we are today.
