Our Planetary 2-Way Ratchet utilizes the functionality of a planetary gear system and 2 sets of ratchets. Various Inner Ring Pawl Arrangements allow for multiple complex uses of this part. The primary of which is turning multidirectional unispeed movement into unidirectional multispeed movement. On our robot, this allows us to have one roller constantly changing directions while the other roller only changes its speed.
