Early 2008 Computer Motherboard Analysis by Robohillers 1715S Strikeforce

For this year's Texas Instruments Electronics Online Challenge, our team decided to take apart an early 2008 Dell XPS Desktop Computer. We decided to do this piece of technology specifically because our team is very interested in the makeup of computers and we wanted to learn more about how they work. We also were intrigued by the fact that since Texas Instruments is an old chipset supplying company, we might be able to find a Texas Instruments Chipset in this motherboard. Just as we suspected, we did!
