This year will be 936B's 6th season competing in VRC. Throughout the years, we've faced many obstacles - from issues in transporting robots to having to rebuild overnight. However, COVID-19 presented us with an unprecedented challenge. Being in Hong Kong, we ended up shutting down schools a lot earlier than many other countries. This meant that to this day, our ability to meet, train, and build was severely restricted. Despite, this, our efforts in creating a Computer-aided Design, combined with usage of various collaboration tools, allowed us to effectively train new members, engage them throughout our process, and put together a well-functioning robot. This video will explain our design process, as well as how our 3D model has helped the team in numerous different ways.
