Thank you for watching our entry for the 2022 Community Online Challenge Sponsored by Google. This video provides an overview of what AUBIE1 does to solve two huge problems in its local community: educational performance and a lack of STEM opportunities. The video first identifies and explains how the problem is affecting the people we support. Then, we discuss the steps we take to solve the problem and make a positive impact on students in the state of Alabama. We discuss how by partnering with S.C.O.R.E. (Southeastern Center of Robotics Education) and the Auburn Robotics Club, AUBIE1 solves these two challenges using three primary methods. First is the Community Teams program, where AUBIE1 members coach VEX IQ students in the Auburn Community. Next is the Auburn Vex IQ League, in which AUBIE1 members help provide students with a live experience to compete with their robots. Last is other volunteering initiatives completed with S.C.O.R.E., which include a variety of events conducted across the state of Alabama and beyond. In the end, we hope this video inspires all VEX Robotics participants to serve their community! All music used in the video is from the public domain (YouTube Audio Library).
