With great knowledge comes great responsibility! As robotics enthusiasts and VEX-perts, we have been preparing ourselves to solve tomorrow’s challenges with robotics. We asked ourselves what we could do today to make a difference. We saw an opportunity to help kids in our community and around the world in challenging situations. We organized online camps to teach robotics and STEM to kids in our community, raised funds,, and partnered with a non-profit to benefit underprivileged kids globally.

"With great knowledge comes great responsibility”, as the saying goes! As robotics enthusiasts and VEX-perts, we have been designing, building, programming, and driving robots and preparing ourselves to solve tomorrow’s biggest challenges with robotics and automation. With this knowledge and expertise, we asked ourselves what we could do today to make a difference. When the pandemic began, we witnessed first-hand how kids were stuck at home with no social interaction and struggled to keep up. We were also aware of the condition of vulnerable kids around the world living without proper provisions or education. We saw an opportunity to make the best of our resources and abilities to help both kids in our community and around the world in challenging situations. We organized online camps to teach robotics, coding, and STEM skills to about 200 kids in our local community, raised a total of $8,000 over five 3-day camps during 2020-2021, and partnered with a non-profit of our choice, Amrita-Seattle, to improve the condition of 350 underprivileged kids around the world and empower them with exposure to STEM. Amrita-Seattle, a US-based NGO serves vulnerable children living in the utmost, rural isolated parts of the world, giving them education, nutrition, and healthcare, every step of the way. In our local school’s robotics club and local robotics academy, we also teach and mentor about 100 students. We have also created an educational portal - Bots4All - for designing, building, and programming robots to make VEX Robotics accessible to everyone. With our efforts that span local to global scale, we strive to grow the leaders of tomorrow by giving kids a level playing field to realize their full potential with robotics and STEM. Their potential is our passion!
