This improved design of the High Strength Gear Insert extends to the adjacent holes on the gears to distribute the force from the shaft. Its purpose is to decrease the risk of gears stripping internally and shafts breaking. Inspiration of the design is from the bar lock component and its two screw holes. There are three different variations, each for the different gears. Data collected via Fusion 360's Finite Element Analysis software shows that the Reinforced Gear Inserts work more effectively than the original design.
