You would think that elephants' large size and long life span would make them extra susceptible to cancer, but that's not true, Elephants have a great survival strategy. They have many extra copies of cancer fighting genes. Using biomimicry, we can give humans extra copies of the TP53 gene and stop the fear that makes cancer the "elephant in the room".
