Robotics is about passion. You join because you want to try something new. You're not forced to do it, you do it because it makes you happy and excited. It gives you the opportunity to experience the engineering world. You also get to have fun with your team. It's not just about competing and practicing, but also bonding with your team. I love robotics. I have so much fun at practices and competitions with other schools. I wouldn't change a thing about joining robotics. I never will regret it.
