Our video is centered around using Hawai`i's native plants to conserve water. We chose our topic based on the recent devastation of the fires, which happened in our community of Lahaina. When we conducted research, we discovered that native plants will contribute to a more hydrated environment. With the recent, catastrophic wildfires in Lahaina, focusing on this solution can prevent mass tragedy in the future.
