VEX has changed my life in profound and inexpressible ways. It has taught me skills I will take into the future. It has brought me closer to friends I will cherish for a lifetime. It has given me experiences that I will never forget. I live and breathe VEX and I expect it to stay that way.

Nice imagery, use of "showing, not telling," and anaphora. I think it captures the attitude of your team very well and depicts a group of people that has flourished from its participation in VEX.
