How strong would this be? It seems good for small things, but if you a ton of force on it the pin might no hold.

I like the idea. Its like a ratcheting system. But would the pin be enough to allow only 1 direction of rotation as weight and stress can be very great on a vex robot and how strong can the pin be? i do like the concept as it could be used on arms to support the arm up and keep it from sagging down when the robot is disabled.
