I like the idea, just a bit worried about the possibility of the pins bending or breaking, and then it being hard to insert. Although this should be less of a problem if they are a harder metal than the wire ends.

I like the design as it will help get the ports lined up but if i snap a pin on that would i have to replace the whole thing?
