Orbzortion is played on a 12 foot by 12 foot field. There are 2 alliances, one red and one blue. Each alliance has two teams each. Robots start in the corners corresponding to their alliance. All robots must fit within an 18" cube at the beginning of the match, but can extend outside of the cube once gameplay begins. Robots pick up balls and place them in short goals for one point and tall goals for two points. At the end of the game, the large white balls can be pushed into an alliance corner for an additional five points. This animation was created with Autodesk Inventor 2010

The audio and video editing were kind of a last minute thing. We spent a lot ,probably too much, time on the actual animation.

Talk about last seconds, wow! Anywho, it took some digging to get the YouTube video up. Maybe this issue is on my side but regardless you might want to look into it. The model detail/lighting/materials are somewhat basic but the animation itself is good. Your audio fluctuates a bit and is lacking music. Music isn't required but in animation it can be a huge contributing factor. Animating in Inventor, quite interesting. I'd love to see you enter the Inventor challenge but generally speaking 3D Studio Max or Maya will own the animations. Good luck! -Cody
