VHS Robotic's mission is to engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education by applying the excitement and motivation associated with robotic competitions. VHS Robotics offers two exciting programs, VEX and VEX IQ. The VHS Robotics program is designed to educate students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The goals of the program are to have students gain a working knowledge of: Robotics engineering concepts, including drivetrains, lifting mechanisms, sensors and gear ratios the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, OneNote and Publisher 3D CAD software, especially Autodesk Inventor Professional Robotics programming, including Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control Website design Project Management, including SCRUM Video and picture editing
