Used for TI vex challange created by Robert J. Leggio all these parts listed came from a old dell computer motherboard all these parts listed is what make the computer run intel af82801jdo: it is an i/o controller on a motherboard i/o stands for input/output controller and used for the interface of an input or output for the  devices hardware typically found on a computer.this is usually used on a motherboard for extra devices on the motherboard  allowing inputs from the device and output to the computer Smsc = standard microsystems corporation Smsc sch5524c-ns:http://na.smc.com/ Smsc chips are super I/o chips used on the motherboard many of these are used to keep the  motherboards on lower power to lower the cost of productions of mother boards so the temperature and voltage on a  montherboard can be contained in multiple ways. TI Instruments SLG8XP519T: used for clock and data recovery, sets up a minimum transition  density and does jitter tranfer and jitter tolerance. Winbound 25x64bvfig: Voltage Regulator used to maintain a constant voltage level St 95n3l: Field-effect transistor The field-effect transistor (FET) is a transistor that uses an electric field to control the shape and  hence the electrical conductivity of a channel of one type of charge carrier in a semiconductor  material.  Panasonic cr2032:CR2032 battery is a button cell lithium battery rated at 3.0 volts. It is  commonly used in computers as a CMOS battery, calculators, remote controls, scientific  instruments, wireless doorbells, watches, and other small devices. CMOS battery:The memory battery (aka motherboard, CMOS, real-time clock-RTC, clock  battery)[2][3] is generally a CR2032 lithium coin cell. Intel '06 e5800 pentium: processor for the computer runs at 2:54ghz the brains of the computer  and helps run everything in the computer AC82045 :A ball grid array (BGA) is a type of surface-mount packaging (a chip carrier) used for  integrated circuits. BGA packages are used to permanently mount devices such as  microprocessors.  Citation http://www.computerhope.com/jargon/s/sio.htm http://www.microchip.com/ http://www.ecoscentric.com/ecospro/doc/html/ref/devs-eth-smsc-lan9118.html http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/slk2511a.pdf http://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=SLG8XP519T&q=SLG8XP519T http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/W25X64BVFIG-25X64BVFIG- W25X64BVSFIG/233861_32386965252.html
