I really like the material you’ve got on the border around the central platform, it’s a great focal point of the animation. The whole field looks nicely rendered for most of the first half of the animation, and the second half using Unity still looks ok, but it’s a shame that the moving robots weren’t shown on the nicer looking field (I’m guessing excessive render times might have been the reason?) The animation in the second half shows the concept well, however it would be better to see the robots physically climbing up the platforms, picking up the cubes and scoring them rather than just floating and absorbing the cubes in a style similar to Pacman. The game itself sets a good challenge for teams to climb up the successive platforms which is probably a harder and more interesting challenge than either a flat or inclined surface, and still allows for a range of skill levels to access the game. The only minor criticism I have about the game is that robots aren’t rewarded for reaching and scoring on the platform on the opposite side to their starting tile, which could’ve had a higher multiplier than their own side and made the game a bit more interesting in terms of strategy. Good luck!
