VEX Robotics Photography Challenge
Showcase youth using VEX to explore STEM. Compose a photograph that features one or more students working on a robot, testing, planning or celebrating your VEX team’s accomplishments. Use photography to tell the judges something about your own story of involvement on a competition team, in a classroom, or as a hobbyist working with VEX.

A white collared student getting his hands dirty. The student came dressed in a suit and tie for an interview at school, and I thought it captured the essences of robotics, having to be well educated and willing to get your hands dirty.

It all depends on you. No matter what others say or how they feel. You can't be unsure, you need to be a 100% certain. If you aren't things might fall apart. The future of the match depends on this exact moment.
The New Bot
Here we see a bot in its natural habitat and one of its creators. In this image, you see one of our own testing a new bot. Our team has created a bot that needs a bit of perfecting. 5813A (ALHS): Team Photo
This is a photo of the 5813A Robotics Team from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This photo was taken after we had been given our Division Winner Trophy in the Cross County Tournament this season, featuring the trophy and our team notebook. It includes the 4 team members that were on the team at the time of the competition.

My 180 kid Robotics Team
I have over 180 teammates on my Vex team because I am a Vexmen. like our fictional superhero namesakes, the Vexmen are a team that work together, learn together, and help their community. Whenever a vexmen is feeling down, someone will always cheer them up.
5150D Photography
As you can see, this is an image of the 5150D robot. The robot is designed to be able to score efficiently via either the sit-and-shoot strategy from the back corner, or from the field. The robot can score from any position from on the field.
Practice Makes Perfect

Dumpling and Master Po are BFF's
The Sandpiper Fat Pandas built a robot that we named Dumpling. And our mascot is Master Po (from Kung Fu Panda). They really like each other and love to hang out together. They're BFF's (Best Friends Forever)

Seahawks Nothing but Net
This is a photo of our robot in shooting action. On the floor two of our four members are testing our Robot’s new shooting capabilities. We have spent many long, hard meetings modifying and testing to get to where we are now.

Sharing the Innovation
Our team organized StuyHacks, a New York City hackathon for high school students in Manhattan. With over 100 students and dozens of mentors available throughout the day, we were able to bring to life robots, apps, websites, and other incredible hacks in a mere 8-12 hours.
