Working as a team, strategizing and communicating are all major responsibilities for VEX robotics and STEM-based learning. In this photograph, team 1104V is seen looking at the competition schedule for the qualifying matches in the Woburn Collegiate Institute VRC event in November of 2016. Using the rule of thirds, a stable balance is reached with the main subject and the background of the picture. The subject consists of these four individuals who are wearing their team's hoodie, planning alliances and collecting the names of the teams that they will play to scout them later on. The reason for why this picture was selected for this competition is simple- the portrayal of what goes behind the unsung role which subsequently leads to our success; scouting.
