This photograph shows a member of team 1104A putting the most important component of our robot into charge...BETTERies. A picture speaks a thousand words, so let’s take a deeper look. The heart of Vex beats with batteries. Regardless of whether a robot may be the best in design or programming, without batteries a simply robot just does not function. Batteries maximize the electrical power to a robot. In a world which views engineering as merely a male-dominant field, we believe females will act like batteries and maximize the human power into the STEM field.
