Showcase youth using VEX to explore STEM. Compose a photograph that features one or more students working on a robot, testing, planning or celebrating your VEX team’s accomplishments. Use photography to tell the judges something about your own story of involvement on a competition team, in a classroom, or as a hobbyist working with VEX.

I chose this photograph becaue I was the STEM leader on my team.  The picture shows my brother/team member, Jack, who designed and built our Robotic Cherry Tree Sprayer. This prototype shows our design that will help cherry orchards in our community spray for bugs and fungus easier.

Their dedication to engineer and program, conveys exploration of all STEM subjects, and their dedication, portrayed in the photo, is their greatest asset.

Teamwok is Key

This is my first year doing robotics, so far I'm having lots of fun and learning new things too. I have seen my team's robot go over many changes and designs throughout the last couple of months. Over this span of time, I have found out the key to our robot's and our team's success. The key is teamwork. Everyone on our team has developed some sense of teamwork from being in the club.
