I am Katelyn Lopez and I am a sophomore in high school on the robotics team. This story explains how I became interested in joining robotics, the beginning of robotics and the effects of what took place after I joined and made different decisions. I explained how some of the people on the team, which are mainly male, empowered me and made me enjoy being on robotics. I also talked about some of the problems I faced.
