We are the only three girls in our team. At first, the boys overlooked us and didn't fully accept us as teammates. When we were making teams for the competitions, one boy, Julian, reluctantly joined our team. However, our team made it to World competitions this year while the all-boys team did not. This proved to everyone that females can do the same, if not even better, than males in areas such as engineering and programming. We decided to enter this competition because we felt like we had a lot to write about, and wanted to convince more girls to keep trying, even if they are not originally accepted.
