This is a story of a special friendship- and robots! We are in the 4th grade at the Roosevelt Elementary School in Melrose, MA. We are a third year VEXIQ robotics team. Our essay is based on our experiences at the World Championship. The high school VEX team that mentors us hosted a Girl Powered Workshop. We loved the Girl Powered workshop. We would like to thank Professor Sheryl Grace, an aeronautical engineer who designs jet engines, for inspiring us and motivating us to make great robots at our Girl Powered workshop. We would also like to thank Evelyn Huang who gave us ideas for our STEM project and taught us all about the robots at Children's Hospital of Boston.
