Confucius once said “The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” We are the three girls of Team 10740W from Oak Mountain Middle School. Confucius was right. We started off with only a few ideas and hope. But as we went on, we found our strengths and our weaknesses. We found out what could be accomplished in just a few short weeks between the time of us joining together and our first competition. We never thought about how difficult it would be for us to start a team, build a robot, and go to competition when we only barely knew each other. Nothing could be better for creating friendships and keeping them than robotics.Robotics pushes you to do things that you never thought you would be able to complete before. Such as, parking on the balanced bridge on the field when the year before, you could not get on the ramp. We have all found at least one thing that we can bring to the team to make us stronger and better.
