@Clean Sweep Man: I'm pretty sure the qualification is for NEXT YEARS world championship. The winner of this competition wont be announced until close to the end of the 2009-2010 world championship unless Vex Robotics, inc. has changed their policy.

Lets see, where to start... Right off the bat this video showed advanced signs of editing with the recreated robot camera tracking interface. An effect like this requires knowledge of Adobe After Effects or deeper Final Cut Pro effects. The flow of this video was easy to follow and made it's points clear, great organization. Aspects of serious messages combined with some comedy bring the viewer the data / results of this robotics program but also part of the team building experience which in itself is a great benefit of going through such an educational program. I also noticed great use of B'roll or background elements combined with foreground elements. I saw a couple of motion tweens that stopped before the clip transitioned but these were marginal. Titles didn't quite pop out, it looks like this was done intentionally. Generally speaking you want these to stick out, I suggest adding a contrasting stroke on titles to help distinguish them from the footage.
