Johnson County currently has four Vex robotics teams, two in the Middle School and two in the High School. Each team consists of a minimum of three members who handle different tasks. Team members design, assemble and build each robot, and then program the robot so that it responds to the commands given through the controller. In addition to these tasks, each team is required to document and log the entire process from beginning to end, keeping a notebook full of information that allows competition judges to walk through the entire process.
