I am honored to take part in this competition. We come from China and study in No.8 Hefei Senior-high School. Girl powered, it is a charming word. It is the theory of political, economic and social equality of the sexes. But it is also an unpopular word in this world. However, in our team, girls seem like a leader, because of their careful and serious. When I was a young girl, I wanted to do some things as the boys did. Then the older told me that I wouldn’t succeed. Since then I even don’t believe myself sometimes. The reason is I am a girl and I should do the girls’ things. Actually, I have done many boys’ things. It turns out that I am an excellent girl. I learn that never let other people limit yourself just do what you want to do. Remember girls’ ability never lag the boys’ ability. As we all know, things are made of tons of elements, even from atom to universe, so it is significant to be more inclusive team. Wiggle is the driver in our team, working from dawn to dusk everyday and using her spare time for practice. She has an important position in the team to make the team better and more inclusive. The date of March 8th reminds people of the importance of women, for they give birth to the children and the contribution, they mare to the family. Nowadays, more women have got the respect and certain rights. But gender discrimination still exists. For the discrimination on men which is easily to be ignored. When people see a man who dresses the colorful clothes, or polishes his nails, they will laugh at him, for this is a girl thing and a man should not do it. Men are considered to be different from women in their acts. Actually, men have the right to do what they want, but the public opinion limits them. Everyone has the right to pursue their happiness. Because power form everyone are meaningful in this world, especially girls’ power. End with Emma Watson’s word: “If not we, who? If not now, when?”
