The world is constantly changing. Every day brings a new challenge in our lives, and we not only face these challenges but also learn from them. Whether it’s writing an essay or solving a differential equation in AP Calculus, we confront each of our challenges with the will to learn something out of them. At Gael Force Robotics, we know that in order to create greater impacts as high school students, we need to apply the knowledge we learn in the classroom to the real world. VEX Robotics has given us the perfect opportunity to develop skills that we may need in the future: collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and organization. In our Promote Video, “Trust the Process,” we showcase ourselves in this endeavor to learn and develop skills, highlighting our experience while preparing for the VEX Robotics Competition and how we never let mistakes and failures block the path to our goals. It also showcases how we use the engineering approach of the design process to build a robot that can meet the challenges of the VRC Turning Point game, and learning from our experiences at tournaments to build better robots. We impact our school by creating a safe learning environment where people from all backgrounds can take part in our journey of applying engineering and mathematical concepts to learn robotics. Achieving great milestones requires many motivated minds, which is why we teach students in our community about VEX robotics. In our education-based program, Gael Force Academy, we attend weekly sessions to pass on skills we have acquired to new members and students from various backgrounds. We made this video to exhibit our club to the world, aiming to inspire new students and experienced mentors to join us in our journey. Learn more about our club at https://gaelforcerobotics.github.io. We profoundly appreciate everyone who helped make this film. This film would not have been possible without the teachers who let us use their classrooms to film in and the volunteers who were willing to put aside their time to help us.
