My team is outside the doors of our first competition of the season. Why? After sawing off substantial amounts of metal from the robot to fit the size limit, & losing structural integrity in the process, every member is working on some part of the robot, one person on the claw, two on the lift, one on the base. We put on the finishing touches and were then forced to rethink and redesign almost half of the entire robot. To me, this photo exemplifies real, raw engineering; it shows us encountering seemingly unfulfillable parameters and making innovative changes to meet them.
