5. It is more than just a robot.

So often we hear that the destination is not as important as the journey, yet, we place the robot upon the highest platform.  A robot may have all the bells and whistles, but it does not solely define VEX. The robot is the product, but it is those late night memories of designing and redesigning and fixing. It is the process of becoming a friend, a team, and then a family. These are what define the journey. This isn't just about winning, it's about changing the world.
