My idea is to combine a screw and a standoff. It also functions similarly to a nut. This will lessen the clutter in the toolbox.  With less in each toolbox, everything will be more organized. One can use a nut and a smaller screw to create a standoff. If you just use the smaller screw, the screw insert functions similarly to a nut. If you just use the nut, it is a screw. The screw insert will have many sizes, so space isn’t a problem. With multiple sizes and easy use, this will be something every VEX team wants.   I used Autodesk Inventor to create this part. When doing this challenge, I learned how to use the thread tool on Inventor. I will continue to work with 3D design software to digitally model airplanes. If one is on a competitive robotics team, 3D modelling the robot will allow a judge to see the robot while the team is on the field. Learning to work with 3D design software will help me with my career because I want to be an engineer.

Hello! Just so you know, it's not a screw.
