Gears and Motors and Robots.  Oh my!

My name is Erin, I'm 12 years old and I have just joined an independent robotics team.
When we first started the team, there were so many different weird kids (I know, I'm
one of them).  We had to figure out who would have what jobs to make this team work.
VEX robotics has taught me that there's a job for everyone on the team and every job is
important, from watching the batteries till they're charged to driving the robot during
matches, every part is important.  Being on a team in VEX robotics has helped me become 
more responsible and accountable. 
To me, Vex robotics is a program for kids and teens, encouraging them to be creative,
make friends, and have fun doing it.
I hope that more kids and teens will take a chance and try VEX robotics.
