Two years ago when I was first introduced to VEX, I had no idea what experiences awaited me. I have to admit that I was nervous at that time, and I didn't understand much about robotics. I am going to describe how Vex affected me and continues to affect my life today. As a 7th grader, I was new to electronics and to Robotic concepts which are not not a part of my school curriculum. VEX quickly integrated me into this new science and I had a really big inspiration to learn all the concepts that were introduced to me. To make a robot was the ultimate challenge and in the challenge of making it, VEX made learning a lot of fun. Building the robot was A very hard thing to do, and it helped me practice many life lessons like patience and dealing with frustration. It has also has helped me and my team bond more with each other, and now we can do things quickly and efficiently. Now as a 9th grader, I realize all of these ways that VEX has helped me. VEX has taught me new concepts, helped me bond with my team members, and even now it helps me in more ways than I can count. VEX has given me the confidence to do things which are challenging and new to me. VEX has meant the world for me, and it has been one of the greatest highlights of my life.
